Hi, I'm Dixie.

By day, I'm the quail whisperer at Buddy's Hatchery in Mexia, Texas — where we raise the happiest, healthiest Coturnix quail.

In the quiet hours between tending to our feathered friends, I pour my creativity into something equally special: one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality quilts.

Each piece I make is a labor of love — thoughtfully designed, meticulously pieced, and quilted with care. I believe every quilt should tell a story and bring warmth, beauty, and joy into your home for generations.

I work closely with each client to design a quilt that perfectly fits your vision, space, and story.

1. Share Your Vision

Tell me about the occasion, colors you love, size needed, and any special meaning or theme. Photos of your space or inspiration are always welcome!

2. Custom Design

I'll create a design concept and fabric pull just for you. We'll refine it together until it's perfect before I begin cutting and sewing.

3. Handcrafted with Love

I personally piece and quilt every inch. When it's finished, I'll send photos for your approval before carefully packaging and shipping your new family treasure.
